Search Tips

You can search for a word or phrase through the free text entries.

You can search for several words or phrases connected by the operators or, and & not:

  • or: Search for data containing any of the words or phrases connected by this operator.
  • and: Search for data containing words or phrases connected by this operator.
  • not: Search for data containing the first word or phrase and not the second.

To make these searches, you can use the symbols ? and %:

  • ?: Replace a single character. E.g., Norma? This gives you the data containing the words Normas, Normal, ...
  • %: Used to search for words that may contain any character from a determined position. E.g. Norm%. This gives you the data containing the words Normas, Normal ,Normalización, Normativa, ...

No searches are made for words that could appear too often in the data, such as the prepositions de, desde, ... or the articles la, los , ... .

When you need to search for a phrase that is combined with one or more words, write it between inverted commas ("barras corrugadas" or acero).Special characters such as $ or & must be written between curly braclcets {&}, as well as any word that contains these. No distinction is made between lower and upper case.
