The Management Excellence Recognition Scheme is awarded for compliance of the EFQM model application level, based on the criteria of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). This scheme is aimed at companies that are concerned about improving their management and that wish to take part in a journey to Excellence based on a mentality of continuity over time.
This seal is awarded by the Quality Management Club, of which AENOR is a licensee and is applicable to quality management systems in all kinds of organisations.
It is especially appropriate for organisations that already have a certified quality management system in place, based on the UNE-EN ISO 9001 standard.
There are three consecutive standards for the Mark:
This is awarded when the result obtained in the recognition process is between 201 and 400 points for the EFQM model, and it includes the obtaining of the "Bronze Mark" award.
Consolidation level. This is awarded when the result obtained in the recognition process is between 401 and 500 points for the EFQM model, and it includes the obtaining of the "Silver Mark" award.
Excellence level. This is awarded when the result obtained in the recognition process is over 500 points for the EFQM model and includes the obtaining of the "Gold Mark" award.
